I’m leaving my previous ‘about me’ up because it seems so chipper and hopeful!  I’m not so much embarking on my SAHM journey anymore, I’d say I’m well on the first leg of the cruise.  There is no career except CEO of being Mom…which truly, if someone offered as a REAL job nobody would take.  ”We have the perfect position for you!  You work 24/7, no vacation, no sick days, no pay (except hugs! teehee!), no benefits, you’re employees will disagree with everything you say, you have to keep the building clean and feed the entire staff.  Interested?!?”  The rose-colored glasses have been thrown in the trash, but I’m pushing up my sleeves and diggin’ in, baby!

Previously, on ‘At Home With Carissa’:  I am a mother to two children, Nyima (2) and Kai (2 months!) and am embarking on a journey of being a stay at home mom.  I recently resigned from a great paying management job in the clinical research industry to work full time changing diapers, cleaning up baby puke, and getting yelled at by my toddler.  In my abundance of free time I’m starting my freelance writing and marketing career.  Come along while I adjust to my new life and teeter on the tightrope of sanity…
